I just discovered that a person in France can buy a box of General Mills' Lucky Charms cereal and have it delivered directly to his/her French doorstep, for the whopping price of 10 euros. That is the equivalent of 13 US dollars, also the price of a movie ticket and a half of a box of popcorn at an AMC theater, or 2.33 rounds of golf at the Lower H golf course I love, or 1.33x the amount of money I would have earned in one hour of working at the driving school.
Equally, a person can buy Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, Pop-Tarts, Aunt Jemima syrup,
Cheerios, Bubblegum, canned pumpkin, Stove Top stuffing and beefy jerky, all for a price. How I love the global economy, sometimes. :)
Sorry for the radio silence;
